The Happy Snooze Method:
Gentle Sleep Support for ADHD and Sensory-Sensitive Children
At Happy Snooze Lane, I believe that every child's sleep story deserves to be heard, understood, and honoured - especially the extraordinary journeys of beautiful, bright minds who experience the world a little differently.
Sleep and ADHD don't follow the same rule book. If your child's bedtime feels like a battle, their energy peaks with the sunset, or they struggle to wind down no matter how tired they seem, you are in the right place.
Alongside my responsive approach to sleep for neurotypical children, I offer a heartfelt space for children navigating ADHD, sensory differences, and other neurodivergent journeys. I believe that sleep support should never be one-size-fits-all. It should be as unique as your child is.

Sleep isn't just about bedtime - it's about being understood

Let's be honest, trying to follow even the most well-meaning sleep advice with an ADHD child feels a bit like trying to put socks on a squirrel. They are not lazy. They are not "naughty". Their brain is just wired for movement, curiosity, and magic at 9pm...not melatonin.

You have probably tried a lot already - calming music, strict routines, sticker charts, googling at midnight with one eye open and a toddler on your head. I am happy to have you here where I can show you my way of sleep teaching. Supporting energetic, bouncing and wiggling little ones and their tired parents running the midnight puppet show on repeat for the last six months (dear parents, I salute you!)

I support families with ADHD children who don't fit into the typical sleep mould - and never will. That's not a flaw. A different kind of brain needs a different kind of care. My approach is all about understanding them, working with their energy, and helping everyone in the house rest more peacefully, without force, shame, or advice that forgets what real life looks like.
The Happy Snooze Method
Supporting a neurodivergent child means looking beyond what’s “typical” and tuning into what’s true for them. And so I created The Happy Snooze Method - a calm, connection-first approach designed for the beautifully wired minds of ADHD children (and the parents walking this path beside them).

My method brings together:

-
A child’s natural rhythm (not just the clock)
-
Sensory awareness gently layered into sleep support
-
Safety, connection, and co-regulation at the core
-
Creative ways to meet busy bedtime brains where they are
-
And support for you, too - because your mindset, energy, and emotional wellbeing matter just as much
-
With space for gentle mindset tools and confidence-building coaching to support you along the way

This is more than a sleep method - it’s a way of walking alongside your family with clarity, confidence, and care.
Backed by research, shaped by real-life experience, and held together by kindness.

Through my 1:1 support, the ADHD Sleep Guide and sensory-friendly resources, I help families:
Understand the unique ways neurodivergence can impact sleep rhythms, regulation, and bedtime behaviours.
Create calming, sensory-supportive sleep environment that feel safe, cosy, and tailored to your child's needs.
Build gentle, consistent bedtime rhythms that work with your child's brain and body, not against them.
Foster emotional connection and resilience at sleep time, even on the hardest nights.
I see you.
I honour your journey.
I know that with the right support, every child can find their own peaceful path to sleep - one gentle step at a time.

If your child's sleep feels extra complex or overwhelming, you are not alone. You are not failing as a parent.
There is hope, there is help. and there are heart-led ways to make sleep softer for your whole family.
Welcome to Happy Snooze Lane, where every mind is welcomed, cherished, and supported.
Hello, I'm Lucie!
Founder of Happy Snooze Lane, certified Infant Sleep Consultant, and a forever champion of the little ones who just can't seem to slow down at bedtime (no matter how many lullabies you sing!).
Before I became a sleep consultant, I spent years working closely with babies, toddlers, and young children - as a professional Nanny, Early Years Practitioner, or a Maternity Nanny. That's hundreds and hundreds of bedtimes, nap times, and wild, hilarious. what-even-is-sleep times tucked into my back pocket.
Alongside my real-world experience, I have poured my heart into learning everything I could about sleep & child development, responsive parenting, and neurodivergence.
I am a fully trained Infant Sleep Consultant, with specialist certifications including Gentle Sleep Techniques for babies up to 18 months, and additional studies in ADHD, Autism, Sensory Processing, and Neurodivergent Sleep Challenges.

Through all those years, courses and qualifications, one truth became clear:
Sleep isn't just about the child.
It's about the whole family and their well-being.

When I work with families, I always hold space for the parents' needs too, because your mental health, your rest, and your emotional resilience are just as important as your little one's sleep.
A rested, supported parent is a child's greatest comfort - and you deserve to feel nurtured too.

At Happy Snooze Lane, we meet you exactly where you are. We combine gentle science, sensory regulation, connection-based strategies, and a good dose of humour (gentle doesn't mean joyless, and we all deserve a little light in the hard moments).
You are not alone anymore.
We are walking this lane together - one gentle, sleepy step at a time.
